AGCO has an exciting career opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Beloit, KS.
What You Will Do:
The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the administration, coordination, and evaluation of specific human resources functional areas and projects and initiatives as assigned. Areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to: training; organizational development; recruiting; employee relations; policies and procedures administration; new policy and procedure communication and implementation; compensation administration; benefits administration; FMLA administration; personnel records management, recruiting; and new employee orientation. The Human Resources Generalist reports to the Manager, Human Resources.
Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate hiring to meet company needs.
• Manage employment advertising as needed.
• Organize recruitment efforts for college career fairs.
• Schedule and conduct interview & coordinate pre-employment testing.
• Assist in creating new training modules in the LMS system.
• Drive performance evaluation process to ensure prompt feedback to employees.
• Drive performance management effort including reviews, discipline, counseling & terminations.
• Handle Employee Relations tasks, as needed.
• Identify, assess and implement continuous improvement activity in HR.
• Manage the on-boarding process for new hires.
• Conduct orientation and benefit meetings as needed.
• Maintain metrics for HR including but not limited to: Turnover, Headcounts, Exit Interview data, Intern feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
• 3+ years HR experience including: training; organizational development; recruiting; employee relations; policies and procedures; labor relations; policy and procedure communication and implementation; compensation; benefits; performance management; payroll; personnel records; new employee orientation; FMLA; all applicable federal, state and local laws.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• HRIS system knowledge• Generalist experience in HR highly desirable (Employee Relations, Staffing, Benefits, etc.)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to solve problems, communicate effectively and resolve conflict.
• Must have organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong interpersonal relations skills
• Must be customer focused.
• Valid Driver’s License with clear Motor Vehicle Record.
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Human Resources, Education, or related field, may substitute experience for education
PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP preferred, will assist in obtaining certification
