Who We Are Looking For:

 

AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of  Business System Analyst.

 

In this role you will be able to work in a genuinely international environment, as a key member of the Parts Operational Purchasing and Supply Chain teams.  At Agco we constantly strive to deliver the best possible service to our customers, constantly improving what we do and how we do it.  Data accuracy and integrity are the underlying foundation to ensure we will have the right part, at the right place when our customers need them.

 

 

What You Will Do:

 

 

This position sits within the Parts Business Process and Analysis Inbound Team.  The role holder will be responsible for and have oversight of a variety of Aftersales processes of a cross-functional and highly data-driven nature, whilst also providing analytical support to the Purchasing and Supply Chain areas. The role is critical in maintaining, developing and improving processes to rationalise both business reporting and operational activities. It involves the writing and maintenance of SQL based programs; and carrying out investigations and root-cause analysis with regards to data alignment and data variations. The position will also assist with the tableau roll-out to enhance the visual presentation of the Parts Business metrics and trends.

 

The role will consist of a mix of task driven items and development work:

 

  • Support the Parts business globally, with a focus on Purchasing.

  • Agree requirements with the Parts teams on information and process requirements.

  • Write and maintain SQL based programs to enhance operational processes and enhance management reporting, working closely with Parts Business Process and Analysis Inbound Team members.

  • Execute data and discrepancy maintenance in SAP, including a high level of interaction with the buyers in the Purchasing team globally.

  • Understand complex business processes and the data from them and recommend best practice.

  • Move existing reporting and set-up new reports in Tableau.

  • Assist in the job specification, design and development of databases to support the Parts organisation.

  • Operate in a multi-platform/multi-system environment.

  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in Agco Business processes and standards.

  • Use knowledge to assist driving change and supporting the Purchasing team-members.

  • Approx. 20% overseas travel.

  • This position will be a Hybrid role.

 

 

What You Will Bring:

 

  • Experience in programming in SQL such as MS SQL Server, is essential.

  • Require a minimum 3 years of SQL coding experience, proven track record of writing complex scenarios into stored SQL procedures, ability to deal with large amounts data, strong error checking and strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrate being comfortable with working with large data sets.

  • Business experience of 2-3 years in a Purchasing/Supply chain related role; preferably in a manufacturing environment, required.

  • Have a working knowledge of Tableau dashboard management, would be an advantage

  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite software, including Excel.

  • Experience in the usage of SAP/ERP systems is desirable, but not essential.

 

 

Who You Are:

 

  • Fluent written and spoken English to a high standard is an essential.

  • Natural inquisitive mind-set.

  • Be able to travel overseas. 

  • A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business Management, Economics or Computer Science is desirable.

  • Display good interpersonal skills to create positive working relationships and a focus on customer satisfaction.
