AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Data and Analytics Architect.

 

As a Data and Analytics Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data and analytics landscape of our organization. This position combines expertise in data architecture, analytics, and strategic thinking to design and implement data solutions that drive informed decision-making and business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is leveraged effectively to achieve our organizational goals.  

 

Your Impact

  • Develop and lead the data and analytics strategy, aligning it with the organization's overall objectives. Define data architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Design and implement data models that support structured and unstructured data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance. Create logical and physical data models.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements & translate them into data model specifications.
  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure that data models align with the requirements of data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data pipelines.
  • Implement and adhere to data governance policies and standards, ensuring data quality, consistency, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Databricks, GCP and others to handle large datasets, storage and facilitate scalable solutions.
  • Implement robust data security measures, including encryption, and access controls to protect sensitive data stored on the cloud.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data architecture and analytics solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture and solutions, making it accessible to relevant teams. : Maintain detailed documentation of data models, schemas, and metadata to support data analysis and management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, data engineers, and data analysts, to support the solutions around data and analytics.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data models for performance, scalability, and resource utilization, considering cost-efficiency.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science).
  • Proven experience as a data architect or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks and/or GCP) and big data technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in Agile framework, collaborate with scrum team, attention to detail and possess good analytical thinking to identify data patterns & trends.
