We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ARIBA IT consultant to join our company. As the IT Analyst II, DET SCM Procurement - Ariba, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of ARIBA systems and operations within our Procure to Pay function. You will play a crucial role in aligning IT strategies with our business objectives to optimize efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP ARIBA (Upstream and Downstream) implementations, production support, and integration with SAP ERP ( ECC, S/4 HANA, Field Glass) systems. This role is pivotal in optimizing our procurement operations and ensuring seamless digital transformation across our supply chain, IT leadership, excellent technical knowledge, and a strategic mindset.   

 

Your Impact

  • Lead and manage end-to-end ARIBA Source to Pay (Upstream and Downstream modules - Sourcing, CLM, Buying, Invoicing, Catalog Management, and Supplier Enablement) implementations  

  • Responsible for the ARIBA application and further development methodologies using Agile methods within the team. Provide production support (Incidents, Service Requests, Change Requests) and troubleshoot issues across ARIBA modules. Configure and maintain ARIBA modules including Buying, Invoicing, Catalog Management, and Supplier Enablement.  

  • Design and execute integration strategies between ARIBA, SAP ERPs (ECC or S/4HANA), non-SAP systems, and legacy ERPs (like JDE, BAAN). Responsible for functional integrations to AGCO platforms and 3rd party services.  

  • Prepare Functional Design Documents and SOPs and keep them updated to reflect the correct details. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, master data governance, contingent labor and services, finance, and IT to align business needs with technical solutions. Documentation of best practices, business processes and configurations that are required by other company functions such as help desk, super user or second level support  

  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance across procurement processes. Responsible for the introduction and supervision of system monitoring for performance, availability, productivity, quality and license management. Recommend enhancements for scalability and efficiency. Responsibility for compliance with all AGCO guidelines by all employees and teams as well as Compliance with all control processes and standard Compliance protection regulation and industry standards ((e.g., GDPR, etc.). 

 
Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor`s / Master`s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or equivalent education. 
  • 9–14 years of experience in SAP ARIBA with strong focus on Procure to Pay.Strong understanding of sourcing, contract management, procure to pay, supplier lifecycle, and e-invoicing. Good Experience with workflow configuration, Punch-Out and Internal Catalog set ups, vendor punch-out, and DOA processes 

  • Proven track record of at least 3 full-cycle ARIBA Source to Pay implementations and Support Engagements. Proven track record of global rollouts and multi-country deployments. Proven track record of global rollouts and multi-country deployments. 

  • Exposure to engage with cross functional teams, Business stakeholders, 3rd party service providers etc 

  • Good Team player with clear communication and stakeholder management skills
