AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of IT Developer II - Hybris (Java) Developer.

Senior Hybris Developer reports to IT Lead I. – eComm DevOps and is accountable for delivering complex business critical applications for AGCO’s retail solutions, and other internal applications. This role applies the combined professional skills, AGCO knowledge and technical expertise so that, collaborate with a global team, provide solutions to support the AGCO business. Expectation with this role to create and improve the technical/technological foundations of the development activities, and train colleagues in order to maturing best practices.

Your Impact

Hybris Development:

• Design, develop, and implement Hybris-based solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Customize and extend the Hybris Commerce platform to cater to specific business needs, including the development of custom modules and components.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to create seamless user interfaces, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly e-commerce experience.
• Integrate Hybris with various third-party systems and services.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize the platform for speed and efficiency.

Version Control and Release Management:

• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and collaborate with team members effectively.
• Coordinate and oversee the deployments and release process.

Code Quality and Optimization:

• Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and testing to identify and fix defects and issues.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize the platform for speed and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and QA engineers, to deliver complete solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and development guidelines.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4-8years of relevant experience.
• Hybris certification is a plus. 
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and Hybris Commerce Suite. 
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other integration protocols. 
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and industry trends.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps principles.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated with emerging latest Hybris releases.
