The Service Delivery Manager (HR Operations, including HCM AMS and related non-AMS services) is accountable for end-to-end service delivery across the HR Operations domain. The scope combines the business operations of employee lifecycle administration with Application Management Services (AMS) for the company HCM landscape and the related services outside AMS that are required to deliver complete, stable, and effective HR Operations outcomes. The role integrates HR process delivery, application support, service-provider performance, controls, data quality, and continuous improvement through a retained-outsourced operating model.
Your Impact:
-
End-to-End Service Ownership: Own end-to-end service delivery for the HR Operations domain, including employee lifecycle administration, organizational and personal data transactions, HR case and request fulfilment, employee and manager support, and the enabling HCM services. Ensure the combined HR Operations, HCM AMS, and related non-AMS service landscape meets agreed quality, availability, timeliness, compliance, control, and employee-experience expectations. Maintain clear end-to-end accountability across retained HR teams, outsourced HR Operations, HCM AMS, related non-AMS providers, HRIS product owners, and other resolver groups, without assuming ownership of policy design or business data ownership assigned elsewhere.
-
HCM AMS and Related Non-AMS Service Management: Govern HCM AMS delivery, including incidents, service requests, defects, problem management, application monitoring, maintenance, minor enhancements, releases, and operational support within the contracted AMS scope. Govern the related non-AMS services needed for complete HR Operations delivery, such as integrations, interfaces, identity and access dependencies, reporting support, data services, release coordination, specialist technical support, and services delivered under separate contracts or internal ownership. Ensure effective triage, routing, ownership, handoffs, escalation, and resolution across AMS and non-AMS boundaries, with no gaps or duplicated accountability between providers and internal teams.
-
Vendor & Contract Management: Manage the operational performance of outsourced HR Operations providers, HCM AMS providers, and relevant non-AMS service providers. Monitor end-to-end service performance against SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, contractual commitments, service scope, and business outcomes, including dependencies that span multiple providers. Lead integrated service reviews, operational governance, escalation forums, and corrective-action follow-up across the HR Operations service ecosystem.
-
Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure HR Operations services and HCM support activities operate in accordance with applicable controls, data-privacy requirements, security standards, global policies, and locally defined legal requirements. Coordinate audit evidence, control execution, access reviews, operational risk treatment, data-privacy requirements, and remediation across retained and outsourced services. Own major service escalations affecting employees, managers, HR teams, payroll or downstream processes, ensuring effective business communication and sustainable resolution.
-
Financial & Budget Responsibility: Review provider invoices, resource consumption, charges, and deliverables against contracted scope and approved demand. Support budget monitoring, forecasting, capacity planning, and demand management across HR Operations, AMS, and related non-AMS services. Identify opportunities to reduce avoidable demand, eliminate service overlap, optimize sourcing, and improve cost-to-serve without weakening service quality or controls.
-
Continuous Improvement & Transformation: Drive standardization, automation, knowledge improvement, shift-left, self-service, and simplification across HR processes and their enabling HCM services. Improve employee and manager self-service adoption while ensuring appropriate assisted-service channels and support for exceptions. Coordinate operational readiness, service transition, testing support, knowledge transfer, release acceptance, and stabilization for HCM changes that enter AMS or affect related non-AMS services.
-
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HRIS product owners, HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, Security, Data Privacy, Enterprise IT, Procurement, and service providers. Coordinate operational readiness for HCM releases, organizational changes, annual HR events, provider transitions, and other changes affecting HR Operations demand, data, integrations, or system stability. Provide integrated service-performance insights, trend analysis, root-cause findings, risks, capacity views, and recommendations covering HR Operations and the supporting AMS and non-AMS landscape.
Your Experience and Qualification:
-
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, Operations, or a related discipline
-
5-8 years of relevant HR Operations, HR shared services, HCM application support, AMS, or outsourced service-delivery experience
-
Experience governing end-to-end HR Operations services and HCM AMS, including incidents, requests, problems, changes, releases, provider handoffs, controls, and related non-AMS dependencies
-
Strong knowledge of HCM/HRIS platforms, IT service-management practices, retained-outsourced operating models, and multi-vendor service environments
-
Global HR Operations experience and experience working across business-process and technology-service boundaries preferred
