Software Automatic-Test Engineer


What You Will Do

As a Software Automatic-Test Engineer, you will join our team, building a world-class simulation infrastructure to test our embedded software for the Combine platform. This position will:

·Create automatic test sequence based on the existing SW requirements. Ensure the automatic test procedure is aligned with the ALM software.

·Coordinate third part supplier on getting the test case developed and tested on the HIL hardware

·Execute tests in the vehicle, travel to the field to verify the software performance and functionality, collect engineering data necessary for conducting root cause analysis, with a special focus on the high complexity feature of the combine.

·Support modelling and simulation activities for Combineprograms/projectson the Hardware in the Loop interface

·Work with design teams to determine appropriate simulations to validate system, subsystem, and feature requirements.

·Handle support requests from software developers, verification champions and test automation engineers using the test environment.

·Follow weekly meeting to be align with all the AGCO global validation Teams Required skills/experiences


What You Will Bring

·Experience with Python (preferred), C, C#, C++, , or equivalent

·Experience with mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems

·Ability to interpret and create or maintain electrical schematics

·Product design experience in the Agriculture, Construction, Forestry, and/or Off-road equipment industries

·Experience with the implementation or debugging of J1939 CAN protocol

·Experience using CAN communication analysis tools (Vector, IPETronik)

·Experience using ALM software tools (Polarion)

·MATLAB/Simulink simulation and model-based software skillsEducation

·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree in a related technology field or discipline.

Location: BREGANZE, Possible to work remotely 25% of the time, based on the planned activities

·Request availability to travel within Europe in the field to test the key function of combine harvester, max 4 separate weeks within the 6 summer months (May-October)
