As AGCO implements the Harvesting Strategic Growth Initiative, an intensive focus is required on the active marketing of AGCO combine harvesters to enable increased sales volumes in an increasingly competitive environment and to achieve improved price realization by focusing customer pricing attention on competitive and added value features.  
The Product Marketing specialist combines acts as a link between the manufacturer/engineering site for combine harvester in EME  and the product specialist of the local sales teams and the marketing specialist of the brands. He provides the all relevant product informations regarding the AGCO combines and a high level information about relevant competitive combine harvester.
Within his functions he maintains product information documents and provides newsletter to the organization in case product updates and new options.

Further more the he acts as the link to gather feedback from the sales teams and brand marketings teams and analyzes the the product regarding new opportunities for product improvements and product options.

The product marketing specialist will be assigned to one of the following combine harvester platforms: 8 straw walker and Hybrid combines and IDEAL combines.




- Supports the development and implementation of a product marketing strategy for combine harvesters to enhance sales growth and price realization
- Provides expert product line knowledge to all areas of the business.   Be the subject matter expert for all product and market related questions and act as the market focal point for all combine harvester market related issues.
- Represents the combine harvester product line and support brand marketing groups at shows, events and exhibitions as required, supporting AGCO ESO as well as distributors in the marketing of the combine harvester product line.
- Develops and implements practical, effective and factual competitive arguments for each combine harvesters for use in dealer selling environments.
- Develops, implements or maintains new product information and product data for combine harvesters across all brands through the facilities of the brand marketing support groups.
- Supports the development and maintenance of a current competitive environment overview for combine harvesters to serve as a master Market Overview document upon which all internal competitive references and assessments may be made.
- Supports the commercial trainings manager to develop and implement a product training program for combine harvesters that includes all modules and elements required for the effective selling of combine harvesters at dealer level, covering both product updates and fundamental training programs for career beginners.
- Gather market feedback, especially during harvest, from dealer, customer and brand marketing support groups, as it relates to current combine harvester marketing activities to support future product development activities. Provide specific product marketing input to future product development activities as required and follow up with product management




- University degree in Mechanical and/or agricultural engineering
- agricultural background and/or knowledge in grain harvesting
- marketing planning skills to be able to develop clear and targeted marketing programs that are coordinated across markets and along timescales whilst meeting the individual needs of each market.
- analytical skills to enable the targeting and placement of the harvesting products alongside other AGCO brands and within the overall competitive environment.
- proactive informational skills to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the planning and decision process

- license to operate combine and tractors on public roads
- English level according CEF minimum B1

- Travel required 40%
