Scope of the job:

The focus of the following position is to provide support into validation team on the activities related to Virtual Analysis/Simulation for Local and Global projects for Combine Harvester products, including all systems and sub-systems. 
It will have as a key-activity the responsibility of manage and conduct the requested Simulation/Virtual Analysis under his responsibility, i.e., structural virtual analysis (static and fatigue); mechanism kinematic analysis; topological and parametric optimization; support to define points for DAQ in system and sub-system to retrofit and calibrate the virtual model; support in data post-processing; etc, looking forward to ensure support and quality on the validation of products between practical tests and virtual analysis during the development of products and systems.
The professional will also be responsible of develop and publish reports based on the results obtained during the performed analysis; participate in multi-functional product development groups in order to plan the activities and ensure the adequate support for the Locals and Global projects.
In conjunction to those key-activities, effective participation in groups responsible for the elaboration of procedures and norms that add value to the process and products.


Main tasks:

- Conduct meetings with the product design team to determine scope, settings (geometry, material, connections, boundary conditions, inputs, loads, etc), due dates, etc in order to have a clear alignment in terms of Virtual Analysis outputs and acceptance criteria.
- Fast communication with MLE to define additional interactions to solve/improve the current design;
- Reporting of virtual analysis progress trough AGCO tools.
- Planning and track his/her activities to reach the targets for all requests under his/her accountability.
- Manage, planning and fulfill the test requests/DVP lines under his/her responsibility through AGCO system.
- Create technical reports based on the virtual analysis under his/her accountability.
- Define and align points together with Lab Test Team, that are needed for DAQ in order to support Lab test duty cycle definition as well as virtual analysis retrofit
- Cooperation with other AGCO sites into Virtual analysis/Simulation team in order to share best practices and different approaches/methodologies in virtual analysis
- Support in data post-processing, to generate duty cycles to validate system and sub-system in lab environment
- Conduct weekly meetings with the leadership to present progress of activities and define the roadblocks and support needed
- Create and present regular KPIs for his/her area
- Use agile framework to plan activities and put in place actions to recover eventual slippages
- Active participation in global teams inside AGCO related to virtual analysis/simulation
- Support the leadership to define and build up the SBP for virtual analysis area



- Bachelor or Master Degree in Agricultural, Mechanical, Mechatronic engineering 
- Previous work experience in virtual analysis/simulation (minimum 03 years)
- Knowledge on structural simulation of agricultural machines
- Knowledge using the software ANSYS Mechanical (Solid and Shells modeling), ANSYS Design Life, NCode Glyphworks, PTC Creo, Windchill or similar
- Experience in non-linear structural analysis using finite elements, modals, bolted/welded joints, spectral analysis, harmonics and random 
- Familiarity with DAQ instrumentation and post-processing software tools.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Fluent Italian / English
