The Head of Procurement, Breganze is responsible for representing Procurement at the AGCO site of Breganze and bring input/feedback from the AGCO site of Breganze to Procurement, supporting site, regional and global target achievement in collaboration with the global Procurement teams as well as cross-functional peers, incl. delivering NPI projects, managing CPM performance, supporting cost reduction, and supply continuity initiatives. The leader will also focus on Employee Engagement, indirect site-level support, and act as a Country Manager for the Procurement function. 

 

Your Impact 

  • Representation of Procurement in local leadership forums, ensuring effective communication between the site and the global organization, managing escalations, and maintaining strong cross‑functional collaboration with key stakeholders and the site‑based procurement team 

  • Ownership of the site’s Top‑10 project portfolio, including KPI management, alignment with leadership priorities, and hands‑on involvement in initiatives such as cost reduction, dual sourcing, make‑or‑buy assessments, and supplier quality improvements 

  • Accountability for ECN performance at the site, including coordination of the appropriate procurement resources and driving fast, effective issue resolution in line with the “Fix it Fast” approach 

  • Contribution to PPV, NPI, profitability, and supply‑continuity targets through cross‑functional project leadership, proactive risk mitigation, and close alignment with regional procurement leadership 

  • Leadership and development of the local procurement team, including HR‑related responsibilities, fostering employee engagement, ensuring compliance with legal and audit requirements, and supporting indirect procurement and policy adherence   

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Academic background in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field, supported by 10–15 years of progressive procurement and supply‑chain experience, including leadership responsibility in global environments 

  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, and the oversight of complex, high‑value international supplier networks, combined with experience in cost optimization, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives 

  • Strong negotiation and contract‑management capabilities, fluency in Italian and English, solid financial and commercial acumen, and proficiency with ERP and procurement systems to enable data‑driven decision‑making 

  • Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams at senior‑management level, supported by deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, trade compliance, and ethical sourcing standards, as well as strong analytical, problem‑solving, and change‑management skills 

  • Strategic, results‑oriented leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities, a drive for innovation and continuous improvement, and cultural awareness gained through international collaboration
