The Lab Test Engineer will be part of the new Lab organization which will be responsible to conceptualize, design, build and run components as well as systems in the laboratory improving the efficiency and capacity of the Combines Development with the biggest impact of Reliability and Performance improvements.
Strong communication with design engineering personnel, field test personnel and other involved people on assigned projects. May also be required to assist in field test for data collection, prototype updates and evaluation of customer owned machines.




  • Conceptualize test stand as well as discuss with the responsible engineer the concept and expectations
  • Plan and Design of the test stands according the input of the engineer responsible of the request
  • Reporting of incidents and events by Xfracas, SharePoint and Weekly reports
  • Support the build of the Test Stand and responsible for the execution of the test and data collection
  • Ensure test units and equipment are updated to align with requirements to fulfill test requests
  • Reporting of Lab test results
  • Contribute to optimization of current and new Lab test equipment and procedures
  • Field Travels during the harvesting season for data aquisition



The job holder will have the following minimal and preferred qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in Agricultural, Mechanical, Mecatronic or Electrical engineering
  • In depth experience with Agricultural or Construction machinery, Hydraulics, Ground Drives, Electrical Systems and Automation (PLC)
  • Creo/ProE or other 3D CAD system design
  • Data Collection Equipments (strain gauge, accelerometers, etc). HBM and NI products highly recommended.
  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint, XFracas, SharePoint and Glyphworks computer skills
  • Very "hands-on" person
  • Excellent English linguistic skills
  • Strong team work skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, asking for guidance, present problems discovered, problem solving,
  • Seniority 2/3 years
  • Travel required 30%
