The Manager – Wiring Harness Design & Electronic Hardware leads a team responsible for the design, development and integration of vehicle wiring harness systems and lifecycle management of harnesses and electronic hardware components (ECUs, sensors, and actuators) for combine harvesters.  

This role ensures robust engineering solutions aligned with product requirements, quality standards, and platform strategies while coordinating work across multiple geographies (India, US, Brazil, Italy).

Your Impact 

• Lead a distributed global team across multiple regions, driving alignment, capability development, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration.  

• Own the design, integration, and delivery of wiring harnesses and electrical systems and components, ensuring high-quality deliverables, validation, documentation, and adherence to program milestones.  

• Define and execute electrical engineering roadmaps, contribute to system architecture and technology decisions, and drive platform harmonization, modularization, and continuous improvement initiatives.  

• Collaborate with mechanical, software, systems, validation, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure seamless integration and resolution of complex technical issues.  

• Serve as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, while driving governance, risk management, status reporting, and mitigation planning. 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field   

• Proven ability to lead electrical design / wiring harnesses implementations,    

• Lead and develop a global electrical engineering team, ensuring effective resource planning and collaboration.   

• Proven track record in leading technical teams   

• Deep understanding of electronics   

• Experience leading cross-functional and global engineering initiatives.

Compensation 

Applicable salary range: €46,000 – €72,000 gross annual salary.  

The compensation range specified in this job posting represents an indicative range for the role. Final remuneration will be defined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity regulations. 

Your Workplace 

This role follows AGCO’s on-site work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 4 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork from our Breganze site.
