The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads a multidisciplinary team to ensure alignment with corporate strategies and operational excellence. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes that enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing Bills of Material (BoM) and Bills of Process (BoP), designing and validating production tooling, and driving continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
This position serves as a critical interface between Operations and Product Development, supporting plant layout optimization, capacity planning, and the successful launch of innovative solutions.
Your Impact

Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring alignment with company policies and strategic goals. Develop and implement manufacturing processes that optimize productivity, quality, and cost. Define and maintain Bills of Material (BoM) and Bills of Process (BoP) in collaboration with Product Engineering.

Design and validate tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support efficient production. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

Support plant layout optimization and capacity planning. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production) to ensure smooth product launches. Manage industrialization timelines, budgets, and deliverables for new products. Ensure the manufacture of new designs and lead Design for Manufacturing (DfM) reviews.

Plan and execute pilot builds and ramp-up activities. Monitor and report NPI KPIs, identifying risks and mitigation actions. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure availability of materials and components for new products. Support investment planning for new equipment, technologies, and infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Act as a key interface between Operations and R&D/Product Development.
Your Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. 8/10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and/or NPI roles within industrial production environments (automotive, agricultural machinery, or similar).

Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and cross-functional projects. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, machining, painting, assembly).

Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, KANBAN, and continuous improvement tools.

Fluent in English; other languages are a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and manage multiple priorities.
