The Parts Manager role is  the key position in our Breganze Harvesting Parts facility. The role includes the day-to-day disciplinary management of a team of around 40 employees and covers the areas of Purchasing, Planning, Customer Service, Operations and Sales. Within our Global AGCO Parts network, Breganze is the hub for our Harvesting business and the support of our combines. A close alignment also with Technical Service, Manufacturing, Engineering and all other key functions in the factory is needed.

 

1. Following the Matrix organization each Employee has a functional report to a Manager in this function. This Manager is usually located in another AGCO location
Therefore the Breganze Parts Site Manager has a Legal responsibility for the Breganze Parts site and AGCO Employees being on site. This responsibility does not include the functional one which remains with the Functional Manager
Therefore the Site Manager will engage with Managers of other departments (i.e. Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations) to support the installation of development action plans to execute the Parts Business strategy and achieve business objectives

2. Ensure efficient coordination of a team of about 40 people responsible for supporting all our dealers and distributors in Italy and supporting other AGCO warehouses with regular replenishments on Parts

3. Act as the local legal entity lead for the Parts Employees in Breganze and provide strong leadership support to the Parts teams in liaison with the Functional Managers

 

Key responsibilities of this role are:

- Facilitate cross functional activities on site and in liaison with the various functional Managers while having the local legal/hierarchical responsibility on Employees in the Breganze warehouse.
- Install a clear and open communication across the teams. Organize regular meetings to forward information and gain feed-back (2way communication)
- Ensure that the AGCO Core Values are known and adhered to by the Employees.
- Ensure that any people related issues are dealt with in accordance with Italian legislation.
- Support the Functional Managers with personal development related topics for all members of the team.
- In liaison with the relevant Functional Managers promote / develop maximum flexibility within the team (task cover) to meet customer needs.
- In accordance with processes set-up by the Functional Managers monitor response time within the team to ensure highest level of support is provided to the whole organization and our distribution network.
- Organize harvest cover with the team and in liaison with the Functional Managers (rota, extended working hours, temp, etc)
- Manage operating expenses within Budget.
