The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for the dissemination of accurate and prompt service direction to AGCO field service inquiries via telephone, and the web for assigned AGCO products, Large and Small Square Balers. 

 

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnostics for all technical issues and then communication in the forms of tele-service, web communication, service publications, on site visit, dealer service training (supplemental assistance only), and warranty claim review (supplemental assistance only). 

 

Your Impact

  • Responsible for processing inquiries in Salesforce related to product failure diagnostics, performance, reliability, product features, service administration, product training, and warranty acting as technical expert.
  • In case of need, perform customer visit, to increase customer satisfaction and data collection for issue identification.
  • Assist Product Performance Specialist Team to identify product issues while maintaining or improving product performance, reliability, quality and customer satisfaction. 
  • Act as Author solutions or service information (Knowledge Objects/ Service Bulletin)into a technical information database (Tech Connect) from technical questions and answers entered in the contact management system. 
  • Assist Technical Service Training organization to identify service training needs at AGCO dealerships or distributors or Train the Trainer. 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • A comprehensive technical knowledge of agricultural harvesting products and of mechanical/electrical system; knowledge of Large and Small Square Balers will be considered a large plus 
  • Knowledge of service/parts management methods, good knowledge of mechanized agriculture and land preparation techniques; good understanding of the farm machinery dealer network
  • Good interpersonal skills and commercial awareness
  • English fluent
  • Travel availability (up to 20% of the working days)
