Sales & Product Support Specialist

 

Headsight (Bremen, IN), a subsidiary of AGCO(Duluth, GA), is a leading provider of control systems for agricultural harvesters.  We provide solutions that improve harvest effectiveness and efficiency by automating machine functions.    We are seeking great candidates to join our sales and product support team.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

The Sales / Support role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to harvesters and dealers with technical knowledge and support. This role will answer sales and support calls, lead dealer training, and staff our booth at trade shows. 

  • Answer sales/support phone calls and emails
  • Train and coach dealers and customers on the Headsight products 
    • Foundational knowledge of the Headsight products
    • Installation of Headsight products 
    • Operation and in-field performance 
    • Diagnostic approach and troubleshooting
  • Respond to after-hour support calls on a rotation during harvest season (approximately July-November) 
  • Make on-site service calls when an issue has progressed past the abilities of the local dealer and remote support is no longer an acceptable option
  • Provide feedback to support team members and engineering leads on documentation, processes, and issue identification
  • Set up, tear-down, and staffing of show booths at various regional and national trade shows
  • Collaborate and present at Headsight dealer trainings 

 

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble products maintaining high-quality standards
  • Assist shipping with order fulfillment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support engineering in testing and documentation
  • Test and evaluate product returns
  • Travel to dealer locations, farm shows, and other events is required
    • Travel can range from 5% to 15% based on the season

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in Agriculture or Precision Agriculture sales positions
  • Prior experience in a customer service/sales role preferred
  • Ability to communicate technical information to customers 
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal  
  • Highly motivated 
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel
