The Accounts Payable team leader will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process from invoice processing to query resolution and payments with focus on all AGCO entities within one group of countries. Countries responsible for the AP team leader must be supported in local language when required, and the team leader must ensure local legal and VAT requirements linked to the AP process are fulfilled. During the process transition period, the role includes the coordination of the knowledge transfer and hiring process, documentation of the processes, training the fresh staff, and stabilization in Budapest. The incumbent will manage and develop a team of 10 AP analysts and will facilitate the collaboration with the local P2P process owners and the key contacts from the Purchasing and Goods receiving area to achieve lean and efficient P2P processes and resolve quickly invoice discrepancies. There is a requirement to manage the monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information, and to ensure accuracy of financial statements. This includes ensuring compliance with reporting requirements in the European counties, supporting the creation of KPI's and SLA's and ensuring targets are met on daily operations.
Your Impact:

Issue production POs based on established pricing and optimized quantities

Working with suppliers on shipping schedules to meet forecast and production needs. Ensure that production is supplied with needed parts for Manufacturing Orders

Communicates schedules of back ordered items and expedites parts when needed

Work with engineering on the execution and communication of engineering changes

Managing inventory levels to meet space and financial constraints.
Your Experience and Qualification:

Accounting (or Financial) studies
-
Fluent English language knowledge (written and oral)

Advanced French knowledge (written and oral)

Additional European language knowledge - one of the languages supported by the team
