The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee end-to-end AP operations for multiple AGCO entities, including EME and North America factories, while supporting global transitions and process integration. This role involves managing a team of 35–40 analysts, driving process optimization, ensuring compliance with local legal and VAT requirements, and maintaining accurate financial records. The AP Manager will lead knowledge transfer, training, and process stabilization, collaborate with P2P agents and stakeholders to achieve efficient processes, and act as a functional expert promoting best practices. Additional responsibilities include KPI/SLA monitoring, monthly reporting, system/process improvements, and coaching team leads to build expertise and career paths. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Accounts Payable and P2P Process Owner. 

 

Your Impact: 

  • People Management: Oversee team development and leadership, allocate work using LEAN principles, and ensure alignment with company values and strategy; maintain succession planning and deliver training programs.  

  • Operational Excellence: Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, query resolution, SLA compliance, and vendor account monitoring; drive improvements in payment timeliness and eliminate duplicate payments.  

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements (EDI, RPA), eliminate non-value-added activities, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure efficiency, compliance, and customer service standards.  

  • Collaboration & Governance: Act as the first point of contact for escalations; work with IT, CoE, and other teams on automation initiatives; coordinate with finance, procurement, and SSC teams for smooth P2P processes and project execution.  

  • Compliance & Control: Ensure adherence to audit requirements, SOX compliance, and internal controls; uphold company policies and governance standards across all Accounts Payable processes. 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field   

  • Minimum 4–5 years of end-to-end Accounts Payable (P2P) operations   

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, with strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to go above and beyond expectations.   

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels   

  • Prior experience in process optimization and compliance management
