Account Manager - Intercompany and Stock Compensation

The Intercompany and Stock Compensation Accounting Manager. is responsible for overseeing the accounting, reporting, and compliance related to financial reporting and intercompany transactions within the organization. This role ensures that all Corporate Accounting activities are conducted in accordance with relevant accounting standards and that intercompany transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported.  

  

The manager will collaborate with various departments, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure accurate Corporate Reporting, intercompany balances matching, and adherence to internal controls. Additionally, the role involves providing leadership and guidance to the accounting team, developing and implementing process improvements, and supporting financial audits.  This role will also assume additional SOX reporting duties and financial reporting duties in future. 

  

Your Impact 

  • Manage monthly Corporate Accounting, and Financial Reporting processes. Prepare and submit quarterly and year end supplementary reporting submissions to corporate and the auditors. Collaborate with auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to the role. 

  • Oversee the intercompany accounting process, including the recording of transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations in the consolidation process. Be responsible for the global stock compensation accounting and reconciliations. 

  • Coordinate with finance teams across different business units to ensure accurate and timely intercompany settlements and reconciliations. Post month end follows up of Intercompany differences to improve the quality of the base ledger information, ensure the corporate policy is being followed and to reduced excessive ageing.  

  • Be responsible for the global tie out of the transfer pricing, intra profit and management fee accounts.  

  • Ensure the regions consolidated Intercompany matching process is completed on time, liaising with the AR, AP & Treasury teams ensuring differences are resolved. 

  

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification preferred. 

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting 

  • Experience with ERP systems - SAP and OneStream knowledge preferable   

  • Experience of continuous improvement to processes. Excellent customer focused skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 

  • Excellent excel skills and Good US GAAP accounting knowledge including consolidation.
