This position reports to the Global Customer Support & Business Effectiveness Finance Lead. The position is responsible for all aspects of financial management for Customer Support in EME and will co-ordinate with other regions to act as the single point of contact for the Global Customer Support Organization. The role will provide financial management and analysis, as well as supporting the provision of relevant and reliable financial and operational data to key stakeholders. 

 

Your Impact: 

  • Act as the key Finance contact for Global Customer Support. Manage Global Customer Support forecast and budget (around 100 muSD). Provide business support and ad-hoc analysis. Budgeting, monthly variance analysis, and forecast planning for Customer Support Operating Expenses 

  • Monthly reporting on Customer Support including the preparation of OPEX reports. Preparation of monthly financial closing for Customer Support according to US GAAP in coordination with accounting. 

  • Responsible for meeting deadlines and ensuring factual accuracy within the assigned area. Identification of variances between budget/forecast values and actual values, analysis of causes, and proposal of demand-oriented measures for coordination. 

  • Professional support for cost center managers regarding cost and budget inquiries and cross-company coordination. Alignment of budget and forecast figures with the managers responsible. 

  • Financial management of Customer support income and standard cost of sales. Project Controlling for all Customer Support Projects. 

 

Your Experience and Qualification: 

  • 5+ years relevant work experience, preferably in a multi plant environment, with a proven background in manufacturing or industrial operations. Prior experience in financial planning and analysis preferred 

  • Strong proficiency with MS office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; experience with Hyperion Financial Management, SAP and Business Warehouse applications are preferred 

  • Written communication skills. Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills. Analytical thinking skills. Detail oriented and Ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Hands-on, able to multi-task, detail oriented with ability to see the big picture. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills 

  • Uncompromising personal integrity and ethics. Team player and be able to develop relationships. Able to anticipate and adapt to changes in the business environment
