Controlling Specialist, Manufacturing

The manufacturing Controlling Analyst supports the financial planning, reporting, and analysis of our manufacturing operations. They work closely with the Manufacturing Finance Controlling Lead to provide insights into costs, performance metrics, and financial efficiency. 

Your Impact: 

• Prepare accurate financial reports for manufacturing operations, including cost analysis, budget tracking, and variance insights. 

• Monitor production costs, analyze variances against budgets/forecasts, and report key drivers of discrepancies. 

• Support budgeting and forecasting by contributing to annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑term financial plans. 

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency. 

• Collaborate with finance, operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with financial goals and provide actionable insights. 

Your Experience and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.  

• Proficient in financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, ERP platforms, and OneStream, with advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and PowerPoint is an added advantage. 

• Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting complex data sets and presenting clear, actionable insights. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey financial information to varied stakeholders. 

• Detail‑oriented and proactive, with strong problem‑solving skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, controlling, or related roles—preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
