This role leads a team responsible for credit management and accounts receivable activities, covering both domestic and export operations. The position ensures effective credit risk assessment, customer onboarding, collections, dispute resolution, and credit line management within AGCO’s ERP systems. 

 

Your Impact: 

  • Lead and manage regional accounts receivable and credit teams, overseeing customer credit onboarding, updates, and collection processes. Evaluate and maintain credit risk assessments, ensuring timely resolution of disputes and issues impacting credit lines or shipment releases.  

  • Manage accounts receivable and credit-related challenges directly with internal and external customers; proactively resolve issues that, if left unaddressed, could result in significant financial risk to AGCO. 

  • Ensure full compliance with SOX, FCPA, sanctions, anti-money laundering, and other financial regulations; actively support internal and external audit activities. Provide credit administration support for financial institutions, including banks, leasing firms, credit insurers, and brokers, aligning with the company’s wholesale and retail financing strategies. Drive team performance by setting KPIs, overseeing training and development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 

  • Create and maintain a culture of trust, motivation, and resilience within the team by effectively managing conflict, supporting stress tolerance, and developing strong interpersonal relationships. Engage directly with customers and/or their financial representatives, including on-site visits as needed, to resolve complex issues and strengthen business relationships. 

  • Ensure strict adherence to month-end deadlines by swiftly addressing and resolving outstanding queries and payment discrepancies. Promote a values-driven culture centered on operational excellence, compliance, and AGCO’s core commitment to supporting farmers. 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business administration or similar. Solid working knowledge of SAP (FI/SD modules preferred) and other ERP systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.). 

  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate cross-regional teams. Strong conflict resolution and people management capabilities. 

  • Able to build a culture of trust, accountability, and high performance. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to assess credit risk and make sound financial decisions. Track record of process improvement within the order-to-cash or receivables function 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of engaging with senior stakeholders, customers, and financial institutions. 

  • Comfortable with customer-facing responsibilities, including on-site meetings. Sound understanding of SOX, FCPA, AML, and other financial regulatory requirements. Experience supporting audit processes and ensuring policy compliance.

Your Workplace: 

This role follows AGCO’s onsite work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 2 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.   

 

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions. The office is easily accessible by car and public transport. Restaurants, cafés and a shopping centre are also located around the office.
