This position manages the Budapest SSC office and facilities, including budgets, employee health and safety, and travel and expenses as well as event management. The role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work with all levels of the company, up to the Senior Vice President level. The post holder must translate high-level ideas from senior management into tangible projects, managing resources, plans, and liaising with all departments. 

  

The role also involves justifying and "selling" non-negotiable solutions, especially for health and safety. A creative, detail-oriented professional with a strong facilities management background is required. 

  

This role also serves as the professional lead for a global remote assistant hub in Budapest, overseeing operational excellence and policy compliance for a team that provides support to VPs in EME and North America. 

 

 

Your Impact: 

  • This role oversees the day-to-day management and budget for the Budapest office, including health and safety, facilities, property, building maintenance and end to end event management. The post holder is responsible for creating a safe and productive environment, managing potential risks from building issues, and ensuring legislative compliance to prevent business interruptions. 

  • The individual must be proactive and work at all levels to translate senior management ideas into tangible projects. This includes leading project planning, managing resources, and making all related decisions. The role also requires the ability to justify solutions and promote safe practices to stakeholders. 

  • The position involves managing both internal teams (Receptionist, agency resources) and external contractors for services such as security, cleaning, catering, and maintenance. The role is responsible for negotiating contracts, defining service level agreements, and ensuring vendor performance. 

  • The job holder is a professional lead for a global remote assistant hub in Budapest. This includes ensuring operational excellence, policy compliance, and teamwork for services that provide support to VPs in EME and North America, ranging from executive assistance to travel claim management. 

  • The role has full responsibility for surveying services for all Budapest properties, including corporate office space, parking, and storage locations. The position also manages the BUD BCP (Business Continuity Plan) and works with the Insurance Risk Manager on asset compliance. 

 

Your Experience and Qualification: 

  • A B.Sc qualification with relevant experience in Facilities Management is essential with 5+ Years of relevant experience. 

  • Requires in-depth knowledge of current legislation for Health and Safety and property regulations 

  • Must have knowledge of office property, IT server rooms, Hungarian Health and Safety regulations, and company car policies. 

  • Experience in procurement and property law training is required. 

  • Should have excellent communication skills both in written and oral. Must be fluent in English (both written and verbal) and have experience in people management.
