The AGCO Global Events Manager role reports directly to the Director, Global Event Marketing and is responsible is responsible for the planning, development and execution of the activities surrounding the AGCO overall brand presence and activation at the massive German-based Agritechnica farm show (bi-annual) and other global events.
Your Impact:
- Agritechnica Show (bi-annual German-based tradeshow) overall AGCO brand project ownership such as:Project Manager for all partners involved on the show - booth contract management, AGCO building design and layout, ensuring overall AGCO concept is on as desired and approved Central source between the brands like Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Valtra and PTx as well as the contact for agency and support partners
- Reports updates to the project steering committee and senior leadership Communicate effectively and professionally with brand teams, executives, show vendors and marketing communications staff Vendor management (builder, all 3rd party vendors: cleaning, logistics, hostesses, catering, staff catering, security, catering, etc.)Project call management (weekly and monthly calls, scheduling, agendas, notes recaps)Maintains knowledge of what brands, partners and vendors are creating and doing on the show lot. Cost management (vendor negotiations in collaboration with Purchasing, cost reporting, invoice management)
- Improve processes to lower budgets and show set up and teardown efficiency.PR Support (manage event calendar, align press conferences, manage pre-show press activations, organize visits from other regions, support award submissions, manage and communicate submission timelines to brand partners, etc.)Investor Support (manage event calendar, attendee management)Staffing, Tickets & Travel (manage the booth staffing plan, book hotels for executives, staff and investors)Ticketing and parking for staff and vendors
- Staff catering/lunch voucher ticket management and distribution Uniforms for AGCO staff Provides post-show reconciliation on what worked, what could have been done better and provides feedback to the events team, the brands and the necessary partners. Consolidating and analyzing performance metric (surveys) providing a clear assessment of successes and areas for improvement Leading the post-event survey with the steering committee
- Assist, as needed, with the design and production of globally nationally managed events (especially in the Agritechnica show off year) such as the dealer meeting, customer events, factory visits, supplier events, product launches and more. Support of other AGCO branded global events such as Tech Days, Investor Events, SLT & (e)SLT Meetings and more.
Your Experience and Qualification:
- Minimum Level of Education Required bachelor's degree or master's Degree
- 5+ year's event management or planning (project management) and 5+ years in a sale marketing support role and 2+ years managing vendors, contractors or teammates
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suitability and SAP& Salesforce Nice to have
- English and Germany fluency and other languages a plus
- Project management expertise Timeline management Resilience under pressure Ability to influence and align stakeholders

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
