CPQ / Salesforce Project Manager Job

JOB SUMMARY

 

The IT Project Manager position is responsible to provide project planning and project management leadership, to facilitate consistent delivery of global and regional projects that efficiently and effectively meet business expectations with regard to time, cost and quality in support and alignment with AGCO’s strategic plans. He/she will manage and serve as the conduit between cross-functional and cross-geographical project teams, ensuring the alignment with organization vision, mission and goals.

 

Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects, including tasks such as the development of project timelines and resource plans, monitoring and summarizing progress of the project, and ensuring buy-in from project stakeholders and process owners. In addition, this resource ensures appropriate resource utilization, management of issues, dependencies and risks throughout the project lifecycle and compliance with project methodologies, plans and budgets. The role will be focused on the delivery of CRM & CPQ projects and co-ordination, documentation of the requirements, design, delivery, testing feedbacks needed for applications / business projects.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Serve as IT Project Manager, responsible for overall project definition, management and tracking, covering the entire lifecycle, from project definition and business requirements gathering, through implementation, including integration, training, data migration, go-live, support and closeout.
  • Work with managers to ensure proper staffing, utilization, and performance of the team is tracked throughout lifecycle of project.
  • Provides day-to-day initiative leadership, instrumentation, analytics and reporting consistent with the agreed upon project baseline and prepares communications for the initiative.
  • Establishes work plans in conjunction with Business and IT Delivery leadership and establishes resource plans for each phase of a project. Confers with customer and project staff to ensure assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Prepares and reviews project proposals, Statements of Work and/or requests for proposal with potential vendors.
  • Monitors progress, identifies dependencies on other projects, manages risks and issues closely, prepare timely updates. Ensures project milestones and stage gates are defined and met. Ensures adherence to SOX, Security and PMO policies and procedures
  • Manage, lead and coordinate the work of specific project teams focused on achieving the projects' objectives. Assures documentation of requirements, design, issues.
  • Be a change agent and drive change in the areas impacted by the projects. Lead process improvement: efficiency, accuracy and standardization,
  • Manage internal customer expectations.

 

 

QUALIFICATION

 

  • CPQ and/or Salesforce projects experience
  • University Degree in IT or Business required
  • 3+ years specific experience with cross-functional IT projects, initiatives & program management
  • 5+ years of working experience including experience in manufacturing and/or consulting industry
  • Demonstrated progression based on significance of challenges undertaken and results achieved
  • Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Proven experience in people management, strategic and risk planning and change management
  • Languages: fluent English, and one more language is a plus; German, French, Italian
  • Current recognized Project Management qualification is a plus
