As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will scope, plan, execute, supervise, and report audits, follow up on previous audit findings, and perform remediation testing – all in line with professional IIA standards. You’ll leverage state-of-the-art AI-supported tools to enhance audit efficiency, uncover deeper insights, and strengthen risk management across the organisation. 

Your Impact: 

• Lead audits end-to-end – from planning and testing to analysing business processes, identifying control gaps, and recommending process improvements. 

• Produce high-quality reports – document procedures and findings clearly, ensuring compliance with professional standards. 

• Communicate actionable insights – deliver concise, timely reports that support informed decision-making. 

• Drive improvements – develop corrective actions, assess management’s solutions, and monitor progress on previously identified audit findings. 

• Collaborate globally – build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and collaborate with IA team members around the world, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality within a truly multinational environment. 

Your Experience and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor/master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.  

• ACCA certification or Hungarian credentials such as Certified Accountant or Chartered Auditor. 

• 4–6 years in audit, ideally with a Big 4 firm (Assistant Manager level or experienced Senior Auditor). 

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.  Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. 

• Tech and data savvy (SAP, Datasnipper, Copilot (studio), advanced Excel).

Your Workplace: 

You will work onsite at our Budapest location for 2 days a week, and remotely for the remaining 3 days. 

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions. The office is easily accessible by car and public transport. Restaurants, cafés and a shopping centre are also located around the office.
