Data Team Lead

The purpose of this position is to ensure the acquisition, maintenance and enhancement of our customer data globally, in a consistent, effective and highly automated way. The compliancy and actionability of our data is key!
The role owner will collect, prioritize and manage all requests related to customer data processing (e.g. cleansing) from the business and prioritize for the customer data team. Furthermore, the role owner will collaborate with the Customer Data Product Manager to enhance the customer MDM data solution (e.g. automation, AI to increase accuracy of processing, data quality standards and rule sets). Moreover, the role owner will evangelize best practices with regards to customer data processing in the organization.
You and your team will be part of the global customer data and analytics team delivering a best-in-class service to the organization including design and operation of artificial intelligence in the customer MDM solution, data quality and completeness reporting, definition of data quality standards, definition and implementation of data cleansing rules and algorithms and advanced customer analytics.
What You Will Do:
- Establish, manage and develop the customer data team and customer data management capability
- Delivery and enhancement of the overall solution for data processing in line with the recommendations provided by IT, data quality and data governance
- Collect and prioritize customer data processing requests from the business to maximize customer value
- Planning management (task prioritization, resources management) to support adequately the business request within specified SLAs
- Recruiting, training and coaching of the team to strengthen internal capabilities
- Lead the implementation and operationalization of the customer data management LifeCycle process (Source, Acquisition, Transformation, Validation, Aggregation, Maintenance, Access/delivery)
- Develop, test and enhance the automation process for data enriching and cleansing
- Support the definition, development, testing and implementation of the IT solutions in collaboration with Data
- Collect SLA requirements from business, IT and legal stakeholders and the centreal data governance team, and provide accordingly recommendations in terms of resources requirements and prioritization of activities
- Report out data quality, completeness, actionability and SLA metrics to the organization to brand organization and managementCustomer first mindset
What You Will Bring:
- Experience as a data steward or data scientist
- Experience in managing teams in the master data or data science area
- Experience in SAFe (agile)
- Strong knowledge about data matching and transformation logics and solutions (model, algorithm)
- Strong knowledge about data management platforms and best practices (validation, matching, deduplicate)
- Experience / skills in analytics programming (R, Python)
- Experience with cloud computing (e.g. AWS)
