The Senior Financial Analyst – OPEX Controller serves as a key financial partner to various functional teams. This role is responsible for supporting operating expenditure (Opex) control, capital expenditure (Capex) planning and governance, master data management, and procurement system oversight. The position ensures accurate financial planning, reporting, and execution while maintaining strong compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.
Your Impact:
- Opex Controlling – Administrative Functions Act as the primary Finance contact for assigned functions. Review and validate headcounts in collaboration with HR for Budget and Forecast cycles. Prepare Opex budgets and forecasts in close partnership with Cost Center Owners. Monitor actuals, identify variances, and coordinate accruals across Cost Centers and Internal Orders. Load and reconcile actuals into OS (as applicable). Deliver timely and accurate Opex reporting for stakeholders.
- Capex Controlling – All Functions Serve as the FP&A point of contact for Capex-related inquiries across assigned functions. Create Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) and ensure compliance with approval of workflows. Develop, update, and monitor Capex plans for MOD entities. Allocate assets to approved Capex plans and ensure accurate tracking. Prepare and distribute Capex reporting packages. Calculate depreciation for all relevant functions (Budget & Forecasts) and upload into SAP.
- Master Data Management – Administrative Functions Set up and maintain master data for administrative function cost centers. Ensure accuracy of Financial Functions, Ownership, Delegation of Authority (DOA) data for SRM/Ariba, and Internal Orders. Maintain strong data governance and documentation standards.
- SRM / Ariba Responsibilities Review and validate financial coding in Shopping Carts to ensure accuracy. Act as an Approver for relevant procurement workflows. Represent Finance in SRM and Ariba-related improvement initiatives and projects.
- Audit Coordination Act as a Finance contact for external audits, supporting data requests, documentation, and controls testing. Ensure compliance with internal and external financial control requirements.
Your Experience and Qualification:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, OS, SRM, Ariba, and financial planning systems.
- Solid understanding of Opex/Capex processes and financial controls.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple functions
- Excellent English language skills. German is an asset

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
