Platform Engineering, DevOps

AGCO is seeking an Azure DevOps Services Administrator/Developer to manage all services and resources related to Azure DevOps & CI/CD.  

What You Will Do: 

• Provide solution management, integration development for project management- and DevOps platforms e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Jira 

• Work with major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) to create modern integrations and custom solution to support management platforms across the enterprise. 

• Drive continuous improvement and innovative DevOps practices and tooling for administration, provisioning and deployment. 

• Define and implement monitoring and management capabilities for both availability and performance management including notification and ticketing. 

• Develop and maintain solution documentation, configuration, and standards. 

• Review solutions to ensure standards and change control process are met. 

• Review of monthly consumption reports, establish and tune consumption optimizations automation. 

• Participates in root cause analysis, debugging, support, and post-mortem analysis incidents and service interruptions. 

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and exercises. 

What You Will Bring:

• 2-4 years hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise 

• 2-4 years of experience developing with higher-level and/or scripting languages  

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure or GCP services 

• Excellent communication skills in English 

• An understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including virtual machines, virtual networking, and storage. 

• Understanding of networking solutions for on-prem and cloud infrastructures 

Who You Are: 

• Keen on working with cloud solutions and possesses and open mind to think out of the box to tackle technical challenges 

• Experience with DevOps tooling, e.g. CI/CD, containerization, configuration management and automation 

• Able to work independently and as part of a team, able to coordinate and facilitate technical meetings with multiple vendors and stakeholders 

• Flexible, good organizational skills, good listener with attention to detail and have ability to multi-task 

A Plus If You Have: 

• Proven expertise in cloud administration or development on AWS/Azure/GCP - preferably AWS  

• Proven record of software development expertise using higher level languages and applying object oriented design principles – preferably Java or Python or C# 

• Understanding of Agile principles – preferably SAFe 

• Deep understanding of Git and common branching strategies
