Senior Financial Accountant

The financial accountant is responsible for the financial Accounting processes as part of the R2R organization in our Shared Service center in Budapest. Provide support for the entities under Budapest R2R team. Stabilize and improve the financial processes within the team. 2 Senior Accountants (1 primary and 1 backup) in the team are responsible for the taxation and statutory compliance of Agco Hungary Kft. 

Your Impact: 

• Team Leader with daily team operations and ensure timely completion of month‑end close activities. 

• Prepare and post accruals and journals in SAP / OneStream, while reviewing financial reports to identify issues and recommend corrections. 

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support both internal and external audit processes, ensuring full adherence to SOX requirements. 

• Prepare FASS / KPMG PBC lists and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the organization. 

• (Role‑dependent) Manage Agco Hungary’s tax reporting and account reconciliations, and act as the primary contact during tax audits. 

Your Experience and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, supported by at least five years of relevant experience—ideally within SSC reporting or GL accounting. 

• Proficiency in SAP and strong command of advanced Excel functionalities. 

• Solid understanding of accounting principles with the ability to apply them effectively in daily operations.
