The Senior Financial Analyst & Controller, is responsible for providing financial oversight, performance analysis, and business partnering support for service-oriented and product support operations. The role ensures transparency of costs, profitability, and operational performance while supporting strategic decision-making through planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.

Working closely with business leaders, the Controller drives financial discipline, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with financial policies and reporting standards.

Your Impact: 

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting cycles, and long-range planning activities for assigned business areas.Monitor financial performance through monthly variance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.Partner with budget owners and functional leaders to develop and manage operating plans and cost targets.Support headcount and personnel cost planning in collaboration with business and HR stakeholders.
• Profitability & Cost Management: Provide transparency into operational costs, margins, and profitability across products, services, and business activities.Analyze financial performance and recommend actions to improve efficiency, profitability, and resource allocation.Monitor pricing impacts, discounts, provisions, and other financial drivers affecting business performance.Support the development of business cases and financial evaluations for strategic initiatives.
• Reporting & Business Partnering: Prepare and deliver regular management reporting, dashboards, and performance insights.Develop ad hoc analyses and presentations to support leadership decision-making.Act as a trusted finance business partner to operational and functional stakeholders.Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Month-End Close & Compliance: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in collaboration with accounting teams.Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reporting.Maintain appropriate controls and support compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance reporting processes, planning methodologies, and financial controls.Drive automation and standardization initiatives to improve efficiency and data quality.Support finance transformation projects and the adoption of digital tools and analytics capabilities. 

Your Experience and Qualification: 

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on FP&A, controlling and business partnering
• 4-5 Years of Business Experience Required in Accounting and financial 
• Strong knowledge of SAP R/3, BI, BW, and Excellent MS Office skills.  
• Very good knowledge of OneStream.  
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken). Strong German skills preferred.

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
