The Specialist IV, Strategic Planning is a P4 Professional Lead/Specialist role responsible for applying specialized strategic planning expertise to interpret complex internal and external business challenges and translate them into actionable strategies, roadmaps, and decision insights. The role operates independently with guidance in the most complex situations, leads cross functional problem solving, and may lead projects of moderate scope and complexity. Impact is primarily at the departmental or functional level, aligned to S&T objectives and broader enterprise priorities.
Your Impact:

Develop and refine strategic plans, multi year roadmaps, and scenario analyses aligned with S&T and enterprise priorities.

Interpret market, technology, financial, and operational data to identify risks, opportunities, and trade offs; recommend evidence based strategic options.

Lead or contribute to cross functional strategic initiatives of moderate complexity, coordinating inputs, timelines, and deliverables.

Facilitate strategy reviews, planning cycles, and governance forums, translating complex analyses into clear executive ready materials.

Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders, influencing decisions within defined scope without direct people management authority. Ensure strategic outputs align with quality, compliance, and governance standards applicable to S&T planning processes.
Your Experience and Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, or business analysis with in a complex organization.

Ability to lead complex analyses and influence outcomes with limited supervision.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in relevant field.

Your Workplace:
This role follows AGCO’s on‑site work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 2 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.
AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions. The office is easily accessible by car and public transport. Restaurants, cafés and a shopping centre are also located around the office.
