The financial accountant is responsible for the financial accounting processes as part of the R2R organization in our Shared Service center in Budapest. Provide support for the entities under the Budapest R2R team. Stabilize and improve the financial processes within the team. 2 Senior Accountants (1 primary and 1 backup) in the team are responsible for the taxation and statutory compliance of AGCO Hungary Kft.  

Your Impact 

• Support daily accounting operations and collaborate closely with the Team Leader to ensure smooth team performance. 

• Execute month-end closing activities, including preparing accruals, journal entries, and posting transactions in SAP/OneStream within agreed deadlines. 

• Analyze financial reports, identify discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and perform balance sheet account reconciliations. 

• Prepare audit and compliance documentation (FASS/KPMG PBC lists), ensure SOX compliance, and support internal and external audits. 

• Drive process improvement initiatives and, where applicable, manage tax reporting, tax account reconciliations, and serve as the primary contact for tax audits. 

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business (or similar)    

• Min 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in SSC reporting / GL accounting area    

• SAP experience    

•  In-depth Excel knowledge

You will work with your amazing AGCO colleagues, spending two days onsite at our Budapest office and three days working from home. 

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions. The office is easily accessible by car and public transport. Restaurants, cafés, and a shopping centre are also located around the office.
