Sr. Scrum Master

The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile delivery for one or more teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices. This role removes impediments, fosters team self-organization, and drives continuous improvement to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. The Scrum Master acts as a servant-leader, coach, and process guardian, collaborating closely with Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders to maximize value delivery.    

Your Impact 

• Manage the department ensuring efficiency and optimal use of resources 

• Apply to company regulations and directives. Coordinate and develop assigned personnel, fostering professional growth 

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and accident prevention. Interface with other departments (logistics, quality, production engineering) to meet production needs 

• Promote continuous improvement and the application of Lean Manufacturing principles 

• Monitor department performance and implement corrective actions 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure productive, time-boxed meetings.    

• Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles, fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability. Remove impediments and resolve cross-team blocking issues to maintain delivery flow.    

• Assist in program/project planning, manage cross-team dependencies, and ensure risks/issues are identified, documented, and addressed.    

• Collect and consolidate team status for reporting to stakeholders and executive management. Promote and support the development team’s automated processes and continuous integration.    

• Maintain relevant Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to guide team improvement and stakeholder communication. Actively participate in Agile communities of practice and share learnings across teams.   

Your Benefits 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master's preferred).    

• 3+ years’ experience in software development projects, with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.    

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) required; SAFe or other Agile certifications as a plus.    

• Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, OnePlan).    

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile engineering practices.

​​AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions.
