Transportation Project Specialist (TPS) will be responsible for supporting EME wide Transportation related projects. The TPS will be supporting to drive the optimization of costs and service levels while meeting specifications/requirements from Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics & Materials, Sales and Parts Service. Contributing to Improvements in transportation related processes and IT standard is an additional duty
This position will interact with numerous functions within the organization. The TPS will support up to four Brands and their related manufacturing plants and Sales organizations. Specific duties of the TPS include
Supporting the development of AGCO´s strategic transportation networks for the region, tie into global strategies where possible Prepare the basis for selecting & contracting AGCO´s strategic logistics partners Supporting the establishment of and maintain performance metrics (service and delivery performance ) of logistics partners Control and report freight costs in the region and support countermeasures if variances occur
Your Impact:
- Finalize transportation services agreement and amendments with suppliers while working with legal and suppliers within the defined mandate Support carrier service level monitoring while conducting relevant contractual rights to mitigate damages
- Analysis of Logistics market, incl. identification of opportunities/vulnerabilities through analysis of actuals/ routings/ utilization. Identification of major variances to financial forecasts for escalation and discussion with Management
- Consolidation of transportation data incl. a monthly requirement to meet set deadlines. Perform special projects as required in support of departmental objectives.
- Developer on RFQ project incl. ensuring that quality level of RFQ Business Requirements Document & analysis is met in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain carrier process improvements. Prepare and support carrier negotiations. Prepare and support carrier contracting.
Your Experience and Qualification:
- Bachelor or Masters degree or equivalent in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, business or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Transportation and its operations
- Prior knowledge in ERP Systems – SAP & Transportation Management systems is a nice to have
- Ability to influence people without authority, Good Communication skills required to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to work for 2 years fixed term contract

You will work with your wonderful AGCO colleagues in Hybrid model from our AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) which is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions. The office is easily accessible by car and public transport. Restaurants, cafés and a shopping center are also located around the office.
