Transportation Project Specialist - Fixed Term

Transportation Project Specialist (TPS) will be responsible for supporting EME wide Transportation related projects. The TPS will be supporting to drive the optimization of costs and service levels while meeting specifications/requirements from Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics & Materials, Finance, Legal,  IT, Sales and Parts Service. Contributing to Improvements in transportation related processes and IT standard is an additional duty.   

Your Impact: 

• Analysis of logistics markets, transportation costs and operational data to identify opportunities, risks and improvement areas. Support identification of variances against forecasts and budgets. 

• Support transportation tenders, carrier negotiations and contracting activities. Consolidation, validation and reporting of transportation data while ensuring monthly deadlines are met. 

• Support freight cost analysis and preparation of business reports for management decision-making. Based on evidence from transportation cost comparison and reporting files associated with the current role 

• Perform special projects and support transportation process improvement initiatives across the different regions 

• Support RFQ and transportation sourcing projects, including data preparation, analysis and stakeholder coordination. Based on existing RFQ-related working files. 

Your Experience and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field. 

• 1-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding or a related field.Good Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, PivotTables, lookup functions and transportation cost analysis. 

• Ability to create and maintain transportation and logistics reports that support business objectives. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with transportation and financial data. Working knowledge of transportation processes and tools. 

• Strong communication, stakeholder-management and organisational skills. Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage

Your Workplace: 

This role follows AGCO’s on‑site work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 2 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.   

AGCO Shared Service Center (SSC) is located at Office Garden in the 11th district, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest providing global support to all AGCO global factories and sites in Finance, HR, IT, Purchasing, Customer Experience and Engineering functions. The office is easily accessible by car and public transport. Restaurants, cafés and a shopping centre are also located around the office.
