Your impact

• This position will lead the design and development of equipment technology innovations in Argentina.
• This critical position will be responsible for defining the requirements and specifications of a project as well as the coordination and execution of project plans.
• The candidate will be extremely organized, excellent with deadlines, excellent communication and technical skills and be comfortable interacting engineering, sales, product support and marketing areas of the business.
• This role will also provide technical and agronomic validation criteria for all products while establishing the timing and development of all new product launches through the current dealer network.
• In addition, this role will provide technical leadership to product support activities as well as to field research needed to demonstrate product value.

• Oversee the execution of product development, ensuring that products are delivered to marketplace that meet customer needs, profitability goals, and at high quality.
•  Oversee the NPI Process, smoothly introducing new products into the market.
• Oversee beta groups, support sales/dealer training efforts, and knowledge transfer to product support.
•  Understand and customize product development cycles based on unique customer needs in Argentina Discover the best supply chain solutions and cost structure in country.
• Provide necessary technical documentation to support distribution, product quality, and value creation for the farmer.
• Assist Sales/Marketing team to promote the product by providing tools, data, and support as necessary to introduce product to market and support them once they are established in the marketplace.
• Work with sales, marketing, research, etc-stay on top of customer needs and technologies to understand customer requirements Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing effectively in English and Spanish

Your experience and qualifications

• Experience leading development products of a moderate complexity, spanning 1-2 functional disciplines, and small-medium sized product teams.
• Experience working on complex problems/designs of multi-disciplinary scope that requires in-depth evaluation of tangible as well as intangible variables.
• Exercises independent judgment in selecting and developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
• Solid knowledge of full product development life cycle mechanical, equipment, or machine systems
• Experience managing, overseeing projects of significant commercial impact
• The ideal candidate will have a background in design and/or test engineering, have experience managing multiple projects or products simultaneously, and will be customer focused with strong field experience.
• This position also requires strong English communication skills to work with the international design team in Tremont while coordinating product adaptations as well as new product development cycles happening in the United States.
• Graduate in Mechanical engineer or derivates.
