The retrofit business represents the most important business for PTx and includes a meaningful number of dealers across Argentina. A key role is to develop the quality and quantity of retrofit dealers to grow sales and market impact. With a much larger market opportunity this job should grow the retrofit business to be above 50% of total sales. This role must implement dealer development strategies, establish agronomic benefits and value for the farmer, and empower distribution to provide a superior customer experience. This position will also lead the development of dealers technical skills, agronomic value creation, and overall business growth in the area assigned. This role should also work to establish the necessary commercial conditions, financial tools, and sales tools to accelerate the growth of the business. This person will establish tools and strategies to discover the key value of new products and establish the marketing message for new innovative solutions. This individual will also be the key trusted advisor to lead the market with new agronomic solutions that deliver greater productivity and profitability to the farmer.
Your Impact
• Manage all retrofit forecasts, business plans, orders, dealer sales contracts, pricing, and shipments
• Promote and grow the PTx brand through retrofit sales as the main channel of the PTx business
• Oversee technical and agronomic validation of new products to ensure a premium customer experience
• Provide training to dealers to reach superior product installation and technical performance and agronomic training for dealers to highlight the value of the products for customers
• Lead the efforts to capture value creation of all the products through the retrofit sales channel
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in agriculture studies, Business Administration, engineering or related
- 6-10 years of experience in business/dealer development fields
- Knowledge of agriculture and grain cultivation, with desirable exposure to precision agriculture, farm machinery, and the overall agricultural market. Additional desirable experience includes the use of precision agriculture tools and software
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook and Soft skills: people management, time management, communication - written and verbal.
- Upper Intermediate English and Portuguese is a plus
