Manager, Quality Assurance Job

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance (QA) manager will oversee the day to day quality operation activities ensuring that products designed and manufactured meet established quality levels through the use of proven quality controls / quality assurance methods and tools, effectively assist the company in assuring manufacturing systems meet the customer requirements and assist in continuous improvement in all areas of the company - focus from supplier, AGCO Grain & Protein, and customer.  

 

What You Will Do

  • Develop Agco Grain & Protein process and product inspection requirements to create and maintain appropriate levels of control through application of acceptance sampling and inspection requirements.
    Monitor returns/warranty analysis, assist failure mode analysis and corrective actions.

  • Represent quality in product development teams/projects. Work with engineering team to develop & execute plans (quality plan, risk management plan) and requirements (safety, functionality, regulatory, usability) to ensure provisions for quality are addressed and resolved prior to release.

  • Leading a team of QA engineers and inspectors to achieve quality excellence.

  • Co-ordinate the set up and implementation of standard operating procedures.

  • To handle customer complaints and inquiries on quality issue. Responsible for customer feedback, perform in-house investigation for any quality issues, provide timely corrective action to customer and drive internal team for continual improvement.

  • Lead AGCO Grain & Protein internal departments solving problems by addressing root cause and implementing corrective & preventive actions.

  • To liaise and collaborate with production department to implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives and to analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.

  • Act as liaison between company and local/oversea suppliers communicating and resolving quality issues and processes.

  • Continuously train, coach, support and empower employees to ensure high level of work understanding, performance and compliance.

  • Achieving the required KPI’s while insuring product standards are met that will meet customers’ expectations.

 

What You Will Be

  • Degree or above, in Engineering or related fields.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, any further language is an advantage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power point, outlook and Excel is required.

  • Basic general knowledge about production processes related to welding, punching, assemblies, and fabrication.

  • ISO 9001 quality system, quality analysis tools and TQM

Travel

10-20% of travel required.
