Sr.Validation Engineer will be responsible for components / systems / modules structural performance (e.g.: NVH, fatigue and others), hydraulics systems developments and support all AGCO programs to ensure industry leading customer satisfaction. He will work inside the AGCO Laboratory to define and perform MTS Bench test, Shaker Bench test, Drivelines performance, field data collection and report to Product Development Engineers. Sr.Validation Engineer will be responsible for leveraging analytical tools to help solve structural performance problems + new products validation + cost reduction proposals.

 

Your Impact

  • Provide structural and hydraulic validation & analysis support through use of testing and analytical tools to meet customer requirements. Support creation of NVH and fatigue related engineering documentation, such as test procedures, lessons learned, etc.
  • Responsible for providing Hydraulic systems validation and fatigue expertise to engineering projects to ensure program objectives are accomplished according to established schedules and budgets. Work with internal design teams to ensure designs are following NVH and fatigue best practices in support of technical reviews.
  • Work closely with internal teams including the CAE team as required.
  • Recognize and resolve technical difficulties associated with projects prior to release. Keep records and transmit information between customers and other stakeholders. Be alert to new technologies and the opportunities to incorporate into validation laboratory.
  • Define and collect data in the field (accelerometers and strain gages) and test into a Shaker, 4Square and MTS benches.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Complete Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree (Master of Science in Engineering is preferred).
  • Solid experience in engineering. Experience with NVH and stress/strain Data Acquisition software, front-ends, and transducers.
  • Good knowledge & technical background of hydraulic systems.
  • Desired familiarity with driveline products and driveline NVH testing and analysis.
  • Advanced English (communication, writing) is mandatory.
