We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on operational excellence in our detection and response capabilities.
This role is focused on incident detection, investigation, and response, as well as proactive threat hunting and continuous improvement of security operations. The analyst will play a key role in protecting the organization from cyber threats by monitoring security signals, responding to incidents, and strengthening defenses through proactive actions.
Your Impact
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM, EDR/XDR, cloud, and network security tools.
- Triage, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents (e.g., malware, phishing, unauthorized access, cloud/identity threats).
- Lead or support incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery, with proper documentation.
- Develop and optimize SOAR playbooks and automation to improve detection/response times (MTTD/MTTR) and reduce false positives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (DevOps, cloud, GRC, business units) to enhance security operations, support AI-driven initiatives, and improve tool strategy.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations; 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in cloud, network, or identity security domains, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibilities, technical depth and leadership over time
- Hands-on experience building detections, dashboards, and automations in a SIEM and SOAR platform; Understanding of fundamental security principles such as Defense in Depth, Separation of duties, secure defaults, economy of mechanism, and complete mediation;
- Experience participating in real-world incident response and threat hunting;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and advanced English.
