Validation Engineer Combines - Field Test

Responsible for field validation during Combine and Header development (planning, coordinate, investigation, report, execution, follow up, communication, combine operation, ...) Deep knowledge of combine and header functionality and validation process. Experience with harvesting process - machine maintenance, machine settings and configuration, ... Support the Engineering with root cause analysis, data acquisition and performance testing. Commitment, leadership, technical skills (hands on) and good relationship. Be familiar with field environment. 

Your Impact

• Plan, coordinate and be able to execute activities (hands on) in the field according to defined targets. Support product development and document properly as expected to a Senior Engineer.
• Develop and improve methods in order to get solid, reliable and safe the field procedures.
• Lead the field technicians with clear comunication and defined actions during key activities.
• Support the engineering team on root cause analysis of field problems and suggest possible solution and/or containment action. Machine performance evaluation - comparison, benchmark, ...
• Able to execute general field tasks as prepare machine to transport, daily maintenance, pre-settings, updates, drive the combine/tractor, basic trainning to new operator, ...
• Attend local and global meetings focused on Combines and Headers. Follow the safety rules. Support the leadership. Good relationship with teammates and partners in other sites and keep a good team comunication.

Your Experiences and Qualifications 

• Complete Bachelor in Engineering.
• Knowledge of Combines Validation process and Validation and Reliability Plan, Standard ANSI/ASAE S396.2, Problem Solving Methodology (8 Disciplines), 6 Sigma methodology
• Be familiar with field enviroment and combine operation (driving, settings, configuration, general maintenance (mechanical/electric/eletronic/hydraulic) and transport, ...),
• Basic knowledge of data acquisition
• Fluent/Advanced English is mandatory
• Availability for travels (85-90% of time)
