Job Summary

Support the field test validation during Combine and Header development (planning, leading the problem investigation, reporting, executing, follow up, communication, combine operation, ...)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Activity Planning and Execution
    Plan field activities, make sound basic decisions independently, and execute hands-on tasks effectively. This includes machine preparation for transport, daily maintenance, pre-settings, updates, operating combines/tractors, and providing basic training to new operators.
  • Technical Support and Product Development
    Support product development initiatives and ensure proper documentation in line with PL Engineer expectations. Contribute to root cause analysis of field issues and proactively suggest appropriate containment actions.
  • Communication and Operational Support
    Provide clear and structured communication to field technicians, defining actions during critical activities. Actively participate in local and global meetings related to Combines and Headers, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Safety and Continuous Improvement
    Strictly adhere to safety standards and actively contribute to the development and improvement of methods to ensure field procedures are robust, reliable, and safe.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
    Foster positive working relationships with teammates and partners across different sites, maintaining effective communication and promoting a collaborative team environment.

 

Experience and qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Agricultural Engineer
  • Problem Solving Methodology (8 Disciplines);
  •  6 Sigma methodology;
  •  Be familiar with field enviroment and combine operation (driving, settings, configuration, general maintenance (mechanical/electric/eletronic/hydraulic) and transport, ...);
  •  Basic knowledge of data acquisition
  • Qualification in identifying and resolving root causes of field issues
  • Lead processes and activities in the field / Flexibility and ability to adapt to challenges encountered in the field.
  • Fluent English.
