Acceleration Center 

The AGCO Acceleration Center is located on campus in the Research Park at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. We are dedicated to advancing technology in agriculture while developing the next generation of full-time AGCO employees. We focus on developing new-to-market solutions and advanced technologies to help farmers with a current emphasis on precision agriculture and data-driven applications.

Intern Program 

We match interns with projects based on their interests and educational background. Interns are paired with technical managers at AGCO working all over the world. These project sponsors provide technical training, project support, and deliverables for intern projects. Additionally, our team of full-time employees on site facilitates various workshops, training sessions, tours of nearby AGCO facilities, and professional development opportunities.

Internships are during the summer from May 2025 through August 2025.

Data Internship

We offer internships in different data roles including:

• Data Analyst Intern
• Data Scientist Intern
• Business Analytics

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to present complex information to various stakeholders. 
• Solid problem-solving skills, with a passion for utilizing data to derive meaningful insights. 
• Knowledge of Tableau for data visualization and AWS for data storage and processing.   
• Ability to understand and work with complex datasets and tools like Python and SQL. 

• Proficiency in using cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, to deploy data models and perform large-scale data analysis.
