Job Summary 

This Specialist will be responsible for some suppliers in Metalics commodity @China. Main roles & responsibilities: This position aims to lead and act on cost reductions, ensure supplier's good performance (cost, delivery, quality, warranty, etc.), contract and cost management and New Product Introduction. Direct report to global Manager allocated in Brazil in order to comply with local and global strategies. Commodity data: PUR annual volume: 20 MUSD; Supplier basis: 15 suppliers; Amount of current items: 1000 PN's 

 

Your Impact 你的影响    

  • Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers. Process knowledge, lead time for new developed item, manufacturing availability,etc.
  • Reach Cost savings targets, support process improvement initiatives and asssure cost management; 
  • Identify best sources for part quotation, assure RFQ on time/cost/delivery, selecting best supplier for every necessity assuring local and global alignment prior sourcing approval;
  • Provide coordination and support for other buyers and departments as required;
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers;

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 你的经验和资格 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably), Business Administration/Comex or any other business area;  
  • Advanced level of English; Knowledge in MS Office, mainly Excel and PPT;\
  •  Communication, Negotiation experience in Purchasing (3 years minimum), hands on and result driven;
  •  Good Interpersonal skills;
  •  Experience and knowledge in Metalics commodity will be a differential
