Job Summary  

The Project Buyer will be responsible to day by day activities w/ APA suppliers in order to attend local and global AGCO factories needs. This role supports category team by executing procurement tasks, ensuring supplier alignment, and handling the operational aspects of sourcing for assigned projects.

Considering all categories of the directory (Castings, Cylinders, Machined components, Linkages, Forgings, Hitches, Gears and Shafts), there are many ideas / projects w/ annual spend expected of 90MUSD to be moved to APA, therefore, this will be one of the biggest challenges for the first 3 years besides of above main responsibilities.

Direct report to Procurement Manager responsible for Forgings, gears, cylinders & Machined components, mainly focus on LCC resourcing projects on machined components, tracking with suppliers and category team, coordinate TR, and support to solve any issues during development process, this position may also support the other sub-categories as previously informed.

This role requires global nature of the role, will heavily interact with global cross-functional team members, Procurment members, attend global drum beat calls, town halls, etc.

• Work closely with Category Buyers and Procurement Managers to ensure supplier selection and alignment with category strategy.
• Manage RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, ensuring competitive pricing and supplier compliance. 
• Coordinate Pre-TR with local SQE team, and support TR with cross functions, Engineering, Quality& Supply Chain
• Assist in supplier escalations, resolving order issues and delivery delays efficiently.
• Reach Cost savings targets conducting market research and supplier benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities; 

Your Experience and Qualifications 你的经验和资格  

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably), Business Administration or any other business area;
• Excellent communication skills in English is the minimum requirement, Chinese is preferably
• Knowledge in MS Office, mainly Excel and PPT;
• 2-4 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably Project Management skill, hands on and result driven;
• Positive and proactive, good Interpersonal skills; Experience and knowledge in any of concerned categories will be a differential, Quality-conscious
