Job Summary:

The role of the Warehouse Operative is to complete all warehouse tasks that may be required, and comply with all workplace and OH&S standards. The position entails picking, packing and dispatching of Orders and/or Whole goods items, and includes receiving and loading of Parts, accessories and/or tractors from or into containers or trucks, and operating hand tools and machinery.

 

Your Impact

  • Pick and Pack spare parts for dispatch, ensure accurate picking, packing and dispatching of parts, as required.
  • Receive and check off goods (for quality and condition), including undertaking put a-ways.
  • Ensure correct parts are received and located correctly into location.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers. Trucks and containers must be loaded correctly and safely and comply with all standards, legislation and all SOP's.
  • Housekeeping of warehouse and outdoor areas, which are to be kept clean and clear of any hazards at all times, with standards maintained at a high level.
  • Drive reach forklift and counterbalance forklift. All safety checks to be performed and must comply with workplace standards for driving a forklift.
  • Report any damages or repairs to any machinery or equipment
  • Adhere to business procedures; all duties are to be carried out in accordance with New Zealand laws and in line with company policies and procedures, whenever applicable, and ensure compliance with the Company's EEO policy.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Current Forklift license
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Heavy lifting required, at times
  • RF scanning experience
  • Excellent level of English communication, verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
