Your impact
- Serve as site EHS lead for ongoing construction and staged commissioning; implement robust contractor controls (pre-job reviews, orientation, risk assessment, permit-to-work).
- Plan and coordinate Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR-style) and safe handover; oversee critical milestones to validate controls prior to first production.
- Ensure day-to-day compliance with applicable Mexican EHS requirements.
- Own and maintain procedures, risk assessment, incident/near-miss investigation, CAPA, training/records.
- Implement site practices consistent with AGCO Global EHS Policy; develop and execute the Queretaro roadmap toward ISO 45001/14001 readiness/certification in partnership with Regional/Global EHS.
- Drive AGSAFE focus—Safety & Health, Environmental Sustainability, Behavior & Culture—using leading/lagging indicators to prevent SIF, reduce high-frequency risks, and elevate engagement.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5–8 years EHS in manufacturing/agriculture/related industry with increasing responsibility; startup/commissioning experience preferred. Technical: Working knowledge of Mexican EHS frameworks.
- Systems: Proficiency with Enablon and familiarity with VelocityEHS (or similar) for data/analytics and ergonomics.
- Languages: Spanish (required); English (required) for Regional/Global engagement.
- Preferred Certifications: CSP, ASP, GSP, CIH, ISO 45001/14001 internal/external auditor, lead auditor OSHA 30-hour (or Mexico-equivalent credentials).
