Your impact
- Develop and validate the lead paint process for automated and manual processes on the paint line during new product launches.
- Collaborate with design, quality, production, and maintenance teams to ensure that paint specifications and processes align with product requirements and performance objectives.
- Define and document paint process parameters, application techniques, cure profiles, and quality standards for new products.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor and validate manual paint application procedures to ensure consistent quality and safety.
- Conduct paint line testing, sample compilations, and process capability studies to validate product readiness.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Surface Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a paint/process engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment with automated and manual paint systems.
- Strong knowledge of paint materials, surface preparation, application methods (liquid paint application), and curing systems.
- Experience with P&F conveyor paint systems, paint booth operations, and system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, quality systems, and automotive or industrial paint specifications. Proficient in the use of process monitoring tools, basic CAD, and data analysis software.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
