The Director, Supply Chain Enablement, PTx is responsible for establishing and governing the enterprise-wide frameworks, systems, data standards, inventory policies, and performance architecture that enable a high-performing global supply chain supporting approximately 21 million units of annual production across five manufacturing sites and an extended contract manufacturing network. This role serves as the architectural backbone of PTx Supply Chain, ensuring operational integrity, compliance, system alignment, inventory optimization, and data-driven decision-making. The Director leads cross-functional governance, owns supply chain performance measurement, and drives strategic transformation initiatives to improve resilience, transparency, and financial performance.

 

Your Impact

  • Governance Framework Development: Design and enforce global supply chain policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ethical sourcing guidelines.
  • Data Strategy & Master Data Management (MDM): Own the end-to-end lifecycle of supply chain data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security across ERP and SCM systems.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Monitor international trade regulations, sustainability mandates (e.g., ESG reporting), and internal controls to mitigate operational risk.
  • Digital Transformation: Act as the functional lead for implementing advanced analytics, AI-driven forecasting tools, and automated reporting dashboards.
  • Performance Orchestration: Define and audit the metrics used across the supply chain to ensure cross-functional alignment and eliminate data silos.
  •  Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Legal to align supply chain data architecture with broader enterprise goals.
  • Inventory Governance Authority: Establish global inventory governance policies including safety stock frameworks, slow-moving/obsolete controls, and inventory health reviews across all regions and distribution centers.
  • Enterprise KPI Architecture: Own the end-to-end supply chain performance architecture, defining enterprise KPIs, data definitions, reporting cadence, and executive dashboards.
  • Strategic Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional strategic supply chain initiatives including ERP harmonization, planning system integration, network redesign, and process standardization.
  • Internal Controls & Audit Governance: Establish and monitor internal controls across supply chain processes to ensure regulatory compliance, ethical sourcing adherence, and audit readiness.
  • Margin & Working Capital Linkage: Partner with Finance and Planning to ensure governance frameworks and data accuracy directly support working capital optimization and margin protection.

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Information Systems; MBA or Master’s in Operations is highly desirable.
  • 8+ years in a complex manufacturing environment (e.g., Automotive, Aerospace, or Electronics) with 4+ years in a governance or data leadership role.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP (MM/PP/WM modules), Oracle Cloud, or similar Tier 1 ERP systems, plus experience with PLM software (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
  • Certifications: APICS (CSCP), Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lean Manufacturing certification.
  • Audit Experience: Proven experience leading ISO 9001 or industry-specific audits (e.g., IATF 16949 or AS9100).

As a designated remote role, this position is primarily performed from a home office, except when business needs require an in‑person presence. For this role, you may reside in the Central or Eastern Time Zones in North America, or any of the European countries where AGCO or PTx is located.
